Friday Confessional

Today I'm linking up with Dandelion Wishes for the first time in a looooong time for the Friday Confessional! Oh, how I've missed this.

I confess...that I'm probably a little too excited to move back to Illinois in 4.5 months...and so is my mother.

I confess...that on Sunday I mopped our floors for the first time since we've moved in. We've been living here for 10 months. Ew.

I confess...that I've had 16 posts stuck in my draft folder for quite a while now. I keep writing posts and forgetting about these! I need to get on that.

I confess...that we've spent way too much money on groceries/eating out this month. We've been keeping an eye on our spending so we don't spend more than we can afford, but we've most definitely spent more than our budget accounts for. Which reminds me...

I confess...that we haven't looked at or re-evaluated our budget in about 7 months. Bad news bears!

I confess...that for a few weeks there I let my bad attitude get the best of me. It seemed as if nothing was going right and all the good events of this month had completely fallen apart. But I've pulled my head out of my butt and I'm working extra hard to find the good in every day.

I confess...that I appreciate you lovely readers more than you know. I'm so happy that I've got the opportunity to be a part of this blogging community and get to know you all better through your blogs.

budgets are a must, but sticking to them requires so much work, but it is worth it. we are finally debt free (except for a car payment, but that will be gone by 2013 too) we did Dave Ramsey's money makeover in 2011. changed our lives!!

sorry i am late getting to confessions. my internet was being poopy this weekend and i could not get blogs to load, so i gave up...until now!!

Thanks for linking up, you were missed!!

I confess that we never look at our budget (or create one)... but really, I think we just typically live as cheap as we can and at least once a month we look at the bank account balance. We like to try to keep the checking about the same, and the savings hopefully grows a bit over time. If that's not happening, we just spend less.
